Tell me what you think the best places and spaces to run are. Inside or out, flat lands or hills, give me your input!

  1. Personally, I enjoy running outside because it gives you a change of scenery and allows you to enjoy the fresh air. However, it's great to be able to run inside when the weather gets cold!

  2. Back when I was in track I was an avid runner but now I have turned to powerlifting for the past few years. However, the best places for me to run is an abandoned location in the woods or something. I hate having to always be on the lookout for cars, or sidewalks ending and having to run to the other side.

    1. I agree completly, running outside (weather permitting) of course is my favorite!! Getting lost in the woods is fun, and keeps me going!

  3. I agree with Patrick about running in the woods. Near my house there's this bike path through this great forest area that leads from my township to the neighboring township and I love running there, I see deer there all the time! Over the summer I visited California and my friend and I hiked in this desert mountain area (in 100+ degree weather) and I loved that. I wish there were more deserts around here haha.

    1. Wow, 100 degrees and up may be my breaking point ! That sounds like an experience and a half for sure! I can hardly imagine it but good for you Calyn, that's awesome!

  4. Running in the woods. So much scenery to look at. I hate running on treadmills because there is nothing to look at.

  5. I hate running more than anything. However I've always played sports so there's no way I can get out of running. I can usually suffer through it there's a trail that's very distracting and has mile markers so I could aim to complete a certain length. Jealous of all the long distance runners out there!

    1. Carly, I totally agree with the constant reminder of distances and mile markers on tracks. I like t just get out there and run for what its worth, and not be thinking about how far I've gone.

  6. So, I've been in West Chester for three years now and I still can find any great mountainous or hilly trails to run. I'm from around the Poconos, so at home I like to run hill and mountain trails. Any advice on good running areas near West Chester?

  7. Don’t let winter derail your running. Here’s what you need to know about running in the winter.

Once winter arrives many runners head indoors, throw their running shoes in the cupboard and don’t look back, at least until spring. Don’t let that be you. In fact, running right through the winter will make you a much stronger and faster runner come spring. https://maxrunningshoes.info
